A 2027: House of Reps aspirant Ogar promises purposeful representation for constituents leading aspirant for the House of Representatives seat in Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Amba Ogar Ogar, has pledged purposeful and people-oriented representation if elected in the 2027 general election.

Speaking with reporters in Ikom, Cross River Stata during the 1.5 million man endorsement of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu for a second term in 2027, Ogar, popularly known as Opinch or Plantatation Boy , said his decision to contest was driven by passion to serve his people and a deep desire to contribute to the development of his constituency and uplift the standard of living of the people.

“I am inspired by the need to give back to the land of my birth and continue the legacy of selfless service.

“Obubra and Etung deserve representation that is not just visible, but also impactful. One that addresses real challenges and delivers tangible results,” he said.

Ogar, who has just resigned his position as the Secretay of the state Cocoa Allocation Committee assured residents of purposeful representation, emphasising that he would prioritise solutions to the myriad of challenges facing the constituency, including infrastructure deficits, youth unemployment, inadequate health care, poor road networks and limited access to quality education.

If given the mandate, I will hit the ground running by advocating for and facilitating projects that directly improve lives. I will also focus on empowering underprivileged children through educational support, distributing learning materials, and providing humanitarian aid to vulnerable

“This includes pushing for better roads, enhanced security, skills acquisition programmes for our teeming youths, support for farmers and market women, and improved educational facilities across both local government areas,’’ he added.

"I can assure you that our great party ,the APC will never regret chosing me to be the candidate to represent my people as accountability, transparency and good representation will be my watchword".

The aspirant, who has just resigned his position as the Secretay of the state Cocoa Allocation Committee said he draws strength from his legacy of integrity, hard work and community commitment.

He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Goldstar Hotel and Resort, Calabar and the immediate past Secretary of the Cross River State Cocoa Allocation Committee.
