The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled its newly elected National Executive Committee (NEC) following its convention held at Eagle Square on March 27, 2026.

Leading the new executive is Nentawe Yilwatda, who emerged as the National Chairman. He will be supported by Ali Bukar Dalori as Deputy National Chairman (North) and Benjamin Obi Nwoye as Deputy National Chairman (South).
Other key officers elected into the party’s national leadership include Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru as National Secretary and AbdulKarim Abubakar Kana as Deputy National Secretary.
The legal and financial arms of the party will be handled by Murtala Aliyu Kankia (National Legal Adviser), Uguru Mathew Ofoke (National Treasurer), Haruna Ginsau (National Financial Secretary), and Abubakar Maikafi (National Auditor).
In the area of party administration and mobilisation, Muhammad Sulaiman Argungu was elected National Organising Secretary, while Donatus Enyinnah Nwankpa emerged as National Welfare Secretary. Party communication will be led by Felix Morka as National Publicity Secretary.
The convention also produced Mary A. Idele as National Women Leader and Dayo Israel as National Youth Leader, alongside Durotolu Oyebode Bankole as National Leader for Persons with Disabilities.
Deputy positions were also filled, including Hammam Adamu Ali Kumo, Emeka Okafor, Zainab Abubakar Ibrahim, Meseko Durosinmi Josiah, Christopher Michael Akpan, Olugbenga Olayemi, Ibrahim Salawu, Ben Akak, and Jamaludeen Kabiru.
The newly elected Ex-Officio members representing the six geopolitical zones are Opawoye Oluwatoyin Bunmi (North Central), Adamu Jallah (North East), KanoMuhammed Jamu Yusuf (North West), Ikechukwu Umeh (South East), Francis Kolokolo (South South), and Bunmi Orinowo (South West).
The convention marks a significant moment for the ruling party as it repositions its leadership structure ahead of upcoming political engagements.
