FIRST BATCH OF STATE-LEVEL UN JUBILEE FELLOWSHIP INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME RELEASED
The Ministry of Youths and Skills Development, in collaboration with the United Nations Jubilee Project, has officially released the list of successful applicants for the Batch (A) Set One of the State-Level UN Jubilee Fellowship Programme in Cross River State.
According to the Programme Consultant, Dr. MacFarlane Ejah, the Ministry received a total of 307 applications, out of which 56 outstanding candidates were selected after a rigorous, merit-based evaluation process.
The UN Jubilee Fellowship Programme, supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), is a national youth employment and skills development initiative designed to empower young graduates through:
Structured 12-month paid internship placements in public and private sector organizations.
Industry-based mentorship and professional coaching.
Monthly stipends of ₦100,000.00 to support learning and productivity.
Career development opportunities aimed at enhancing employability and workplace readiness.
Dr. Ejah noted that the selection reflects the Programme’s commitment to transparency, fairness, and the advancement of youth capacity in Cross River State.
He further requested the approval of the Honourable Commissioner for the following:
Publication of the list of successful applicants and invitation for documentation.
Authorization to commence onboarding into relevant Ministries, Departments & Agencies (MDAs) and partner private organizations.
A scheduled briefing meeting to hold at the Ministry’s Conference Hall on Friday, 5th December 2025 as follows:
Interns: 2:00 p.m.
Desk Officers: 10:00 a.m.
The Ministry congratulates all successful candidates and reaffirms its commitment to creating more opportunities for youth empowerment and economic growth across the state.
