President Tinubu swears in Ibas as Rivers state's sole Administrator

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sworn in the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (Rtd), at the State House, Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

Ibas was sworn in on Wednesday after a brief meeting with the President following is appointment.

It would be recalled that President Tinubu appointed Ibas on Tuesday evening to run the affairs of Rivers State after declaring a state of emergency on the state following the escalation of the political crisis in the State.
