Calabar witnessed an atmosphere of spiritual renewal, thanksgiving, and divine encounters as Message Point Assembly concluded its weeklong 14th Anniversary Celebration with the grand finale of its annual Oil of Excellence Convention on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
The event, themed From Glory to Glory, attracted worshippers, ministers, and believers from different walks of life who gathered to celebrate God's faithfulness and seek fresh empowerment for greater accomplishments.
Ministering during the final day, Apostle B.J. Udosen delivered a powerful message titled Anointing for Enthronement, drawing his teachings from 1 Samuel 16:1–15 and Luke 4:18. The message centered on God's ability to lift ordinary people into positions of influence and destiny through the power of divine anointing.
Using the story of David's anointing by Prophet Samuel, Apostle Udosen emphasized that God's choice is not determined by outward appearance but by the condition of the heart. He noted that David's elevation from shepherd boy to king was a product of divine selection and heavenly endorsement.
The cleric explained that the anointing remains a vital force for fulfilling purpose, overcoming life's battles, and attaining greatness. According to him, many destinies remain delayed because individuals fail to position themselves for divine empowerment.
Highlighting reasons believers must seek God's anointing, he stated that many people carry the responsibility of supporting and uplifting their families. He further stressed that every individual faces visible and invisible battles that require divine intervention, adding that many destinies and thrones are waiting to be occupied by those whom God has prepared.
Referencing Psalm 23, Apostle Udosen described the anointing as a divine provision that brings protection, restoration, abundance, and victory even in the presence of adversaries.
He also outlined practical steps for receiving God's anointing, urging believers to maintain unwavering faith in God and cultivate obedience to His voice. According to him, obedience remains a major requirement for anyone seeking divine elevation and lasting success.
Speaking on the secrets of activating the Oil of Excellence, he identified sacrifice as a key principle, explaining that genuine commitment and dedication to God often precede extraordinary manifestations of His power.
One of the notable statements from the message was his assertion that "Anointing without money is annoyance," emphasizing the importance of divine wisdom, productivity, and financial empowerment in fulfilling God's purpose on earth.
The convention ended with special prayers, prophetic declarations, and anointing ministrations as worshippers sought divine grace for enthronement, excellence, and advancement in every area of life.
The successful conclusion of the seven-day celebration marked another significant milestone in the history of Message Point Assembly, reinforcing its commitment to raising believers who will move from one level of glory to another through the power of God.
