HOPE WADDELL CELEBRATE 130 YEARS, SET TO ESTABLISH WORLD CLASS MUSEUM

 

Hope waddell training institution is set to establish a world class museum which will not only house the ancient artifacts but also serve as a tourist Site in Cross River State. Nigeria.

This was announced during a world Press conference organized by the Hope waddell training institution Old boys Association, to kick start the 130th Anniversary of the school. Speaking during the conference, Mr Efio-Ita Ephraim the Association's Nation president informed that the museum will be a Hall of Fame that will house the Institution's memories, with artifacts and other historical items that will showcase the rich heritage of the school and make it a World class tourist site

Speaking further Ephraim Disclosed the Association is mostly working with the National Museum to Ensure this is in line with the required stand. Stating that the site will attract funds by way of tourists fee to the institution.

Also speaking the Anniversary planning committee chairman informed that the anniversary celebration will feature a football match competition between the senior and junior groups, as well as between the JSS class and female parents.

Also speaking the Anniversary planning committee chairman unveiled the line up of activity to mark the 130th anniversary celebration which includes different novelty football matches, carnival float, Election of new National Executives, Award and dinner night and The grand finale of the celebration will be a thanksgiving service on Sunday.

The president speaking with Press men in an interview announced that Hope Waddell Training Institution has regained it's status as a Cambridge examination Center. He also appreciated Efforts made by Various Sets of the Association to elevate the standard of the school.

Ephraim informed that the Association through its various sets and chapters has renovated and equipped the various laboratories in the school, installed street lights within the School Premises, and other on going Project Such as 500 sitting capacity of the Football field and Hall of Fame among others .
